Letterhead & Slides Templates
If you need advanced design help or vendor recommendations instead of templates, please contact our team.
On this page:
Usage of Templates
Many of the templates require the use of photography or imagery, this is where you can leverage SJSU's photo library. Please note that it is never appropriate—or legal—to use an image from another source without obtaining permission from the image’s owner.
For the InDesign and MS Word templates to function, you must install SJSU Spartan Typeface before using the templates.
Electronic Letterhead
Official SJSU electronic letterhead templates may be customized with your division, department or program information. NOTE: Due to the technical limitations of MS Word, electronic letterhead templates may only be customized on a Windows platform. Once it has been customized with department name and contact information, the Word document may be shared with Mac users, who will be able to edit the body text.
MS Word Templates: For Windows Only
Due to the technical limitations of MS Word, letterhead templates can only be edited on Windows computers, not on Macs. To open the MS Word template on your Windows computer, you will need to adjust your security settings in MS Word to "enable macros." If you do not do this before opening the template, you will be prompted to do so. Once you download and open the template in MS Word, an entry form will open. Edit your information and click save.

Before utilizing the presentation deck, users must review the following guidelines on how to effectively use and customize the Cabinet slide deck.
Guidelines for Cabinet Deck Usage

Before making any changes, please create a copy of the slide deck for your own use. This will ensure that the original slide deck remains intact for others to use. Here's how to do it:
• Open the slide deck.
• Click on "File" in the top left corner.
• Select "Make a copy."
• Choose "Entire presentation."
• Rename the file as you wish, and click "OK."
Duplicating Slides
If you find a slide format that works well for your content, feel free to duplicate
it for use elsewhere in your presentation. To do this, simply right-click on the slide
in the slide navigator and select "Duplicate slide."
