About Us

Academic Scheduling and Space Management (AS&SM) collaborates with the Academic Scheduling User Group and an Advisory Work Group to enhance the effectiveness of business practices.

Class Data & Analytics

Class schedule and classroom assignment decisions are supported by various data reports and dashboards to ensure student success, compliance, and institutional effectiveness.

Class Schedule

The class schedule is published three to four months prior to first date of Instruction. The production and maintenance of the class schedule is a critical component of academic planning.

Classroom Spaces

Classrooms are defined as University Lecture Rooms (ULRs) or College Managed Lecture Rooms (CLECs). All teaching laboratories (TLABs) are managed by academic colleges or departments.

Events in AAD Spaces

The Academic Affairs Division (AAD) and its subunits manage classrooms and various offices as well as meeting spaces. Classrooms and meeting spaces may be reserved for events based on the nature of the event and availability.

Hub

The Academic Scheduling & Classrooms Hub is a resource center for SJSU employees. It contains internal processes and procedures.
