Fall 2024

Dates of Instruction: August 21 - December 9, 2024
Enrollment Census Date: September 18, 2024

The Fall 2024 class schedule and MySJSU Registration Appointments posted on Tuesday, April 16, 2024. Advance Registration for Continuing Students period began on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. Registration for Non-SJSU students begins on Wednesday, August 21, 2024.

Fall 2024 Final Exams are scheduled from Wednesday-Friday, December 11-13 and Monday-Tuesday, 16-17, 2024.

Fall 2024 Grades are viewable on MySJSU on Saturday, December 21, 2024. 

Fall 2024 Commencement is scheduled for Thursday-Friday, December 19-20, 2024 (dates are tentative and subject to change). 

Winter 2025

Dates of Instruction: January 1-17, 2025 (unless otherwise noted)

The Winter 2024 class schedule posted on Tuesday, September 24, 2024. MySJSU Registration Appointments post on Monday, October 7, 2024 at 10:00 AM. Advance registration for Continuing Students begins on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. Registration for Open University students and students who repeat classes begins on Wednesday, October 23, 2024.

Winter 2025 Final Exams are normally scheduled on the last day of class. 

Winter 2025 Grades are viewable on MySJSU on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.

SJSU does not offer winter term commencement ceremonies.

 

Spring 2025

Dates of Instruction: January 23 - May 12, 2025
Enrollment Census Date: February 19, 2025

The Spring 2025 class schedule and MySJSU Registration Appointments post on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. Advance Registration for Continuing Students period begins on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. Registration for Non-SJSU students begins on Thursday, January 23, 2025.

Spring 2025 Final Exams are scheduled from Wednesday-Friday, May 14-16 and Monday-Tuesday, 19-20, 2025.

Spring 2025 Grades are viewable on MySJSU on Saturday, May 24, 2025 (if all evaluations submitted). 

Spring 2025 Commencement is scheduled for Wednesday-Friday, May 21-23, 2025.

Non-SJSU Students

Former SJSU students, current students from other universities, or community members, can register for classes year-round through Open University.
