Courtney Flores is a Costume Designer and lecturer in The Department of Film and Theatre instructing courses in costume and makeup design. Ms. Flores also designs the costumes for mainstage productions in the department.

She is a San Francisco Bay Area Native who has been designing costumes for theatre for over 17 years locally and nationally.

Ms. Flores is an organizing member of La Gente: The Latinx Theatre Design Network, a Co-Founding Member of Bay Area Latino Theatre Artists Network, and an Advisory Committee Member of the Latinx Theatre Commons.

Ms. Flores also served as Lead Curator for La Esquinita, an Howlround online journal series, profiling Latinx Theatre Designers and Technicians. In addition, she instructs courses as an Adjunct Lecturer in the Theatre and Dance Department at California State University, East Bay in Hayward, California. She holds an M.F.A. from San Francisco State University and a B.A. from California State University Hayward, now California State University East Bay.
