Thrive Together
Thrive Together: Inclusive Wellness takes an interdisciplinary approach to holistic family wellness—centering communication, mental health, and healthy development. In partnership with SJSU’s Kay Armstead Center for Communicative Disorders (KACCD), we offer comprehensive clinical services including interdisciplinary assessments, developmental screenings, and caregiver support.
Thrive Together also includes training opportunities, including interprofessional education (IPE), to strengthen the skills of trainee-practitioners working with children and families. Together, we share a deep commitment to promoting holistic, healthy development for all youth. The Thrive Together initiative brings together expertise from Communicative Disorders and Sciences, Child Development, Occupational Therapy, and Clinical Counseling to address the complex, intersecting needs of children and their families.
For Youth
- Art of Mindfulness, wellness program. We bring arts-based activities to classrooms to support student
mental health.
- Build Your Future Fair, a career fair that connects high school students with a range of trade schools,
colleges, universities, and post-graduation opportunities, supporting positive youth
development and well-being.

For Caregivers
- Parent Lounge, in partnership with SJSU’s Kay Armstead Center for Communicative Disorders (KACCD). We provide a welcoming space for parents to recharge while their child receives
care at KACCD.
- CAPTAIN Trainings, hosted in partnership with California Autism Professional Training and Information
Network (CAPTAIN), are workshops that educate caregivers on evidence-based practices
they can use to support their child with autism.
