SJSU Recognized Student Organizations:

San José State University recognizes over 350+ student organizations. Students are encouraged to participate in one of the many clubs as this is the best way to connect with campus life!

Organizations are self-categorized into the following groups:

1. Academic
2. Club Sports
3. Cultural/Religious
4. Fraternity/Sorority
5. Special Interest

For Prospective Organization Members (those who want to join/start an org)

• How to Start a New Org

Beginning the 2024-2025 Academic Year, we will not accept new organization applications after Thanksgiving Break and after Spring Break to do an audit of our Recognized Student Organizations and prepare for eligibility checks. 

For Current Org Leaders (Officers of current RSO)

• Change of Officer Form (President, Treasurer, or Advisor)
