RSCA in Five

RSCA in Five: Faculty Short Talks are designed to foster a spirit of cross-campus collaboration by exploring the most exciting research topics impacting society today.

Research Clusters

The Research Clusters Initiative intentionally brings SJSU researchers, scholars, and practioners together to tackle large-scale problems that require multidisciplinary approaches. Capitalizing on faculty expertise and hiring themes, the research clusters aim not only to expand our research enterprise, but also to provide research as opportunities for experiential learning and workforce development.

Student RSCA Forums

The Office of Research, the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program, McNair Scholars Program, and Undergraduate Education partner to create more avenues for student engagement in RSCA and to create platforms for students to share their RSCA. 

CURF (College Unrestricted RSCA Fund) Allocation

The Division of R&I will reinvest a portion of the F&A reimbursements annually for the College Unrestricted RSCA Fund allocation. The funds will be entirely drawn from the Division of R&I's portion of the F&A reimbursements for the previous year. The amount of the distribution will be based on the number of tenured and tenure-track faculty within each college in the previous year's fall semester, as reported by Institutional Research and Strategic Analytics.
