Fall 2025 Grading Bulletin

As we approach the end of the Fall semester, we’d like to remind you of these important deadlines and special notes below.

Important Dates and Deadlines

  • GRADE ROSTERS OPEN - Tuesday, Dec 9: Access to ALL Grade rosters with end dates through 12/31/25 will be available at 8 a.m.
  • PRELIMINARY GRADE SUBMISSION DATE - Friday, Dec 19: All grades entered in an approved status by 11:59 p.m. will be posted and viewable at 8 a.m. the next day.
      • Grade rosters submitted in Approved status after 12/19/2025 will be posted on the following dates: 12/21, 12/23, 12/26, 12/27, 12/29/2025 & 1/2/2026 @8 a.m.
  • FINAL GRADE SUBMISSION DEADLINE - Thursday, Jan 1: Grades not submitted by the deadline will be assigned “RD” Report Delayed grades.  RD grades must be changed to an appropriate grade as soon as possible.    Please note: RD grades can negatively impact students’ ability to register for courses with prerequisite requirements and may delay graduation for those expecting to graduate at the end of this semester.
  • FINAL GRADE POSTING - Friday, Jan 2: Grade rosters in Approved status will be posted. 
      • Grades may still be entered in the grade roster (if the roster has not been posted).  Please contact the Registrar’s Office if entering grades in the roster after 8 a.m.
      • See the grading page for instructions on how to submit late grades or a change of grades.
      • We will not accept any grading documents via campus mail.
  • ACADEMIC STANDING FINALIZED - Monday, Jan 12: Academic standing & current semester grades posted on MySJSU & official transcripts.

Important Notes

IT Service Desk Hours:  Please refer to the IT Service Desk site for published hours.

Password Information: To avoid last-minute issues, log into Faculty Self-Service a few days before entering grades to ensure your SJSU ID and password are active. MySJSU uses your one.SJSU login, which is the same password as your SJSU email. Reset your password if needed.

Grade Submission: To enter grades, go to one.sjsu.edu, click MySJSU tile (not SJSU @ Work) to access your grade rosters.

Administrative Grades of W (Withdrawal), IC (Incomplete Charged), and RD (Report Delayed) are assigned by the Office of the Registrar.  Please do not enter these grades.  

    • You should assign a WU (Withdrawal Unauthorized) grade to a student who stopped attending and did not officially drop/withdraw from the class. When assigning a WU grade, you will need to enter an approximate date the student stopped attending class.
    • Please DO NOT assign an F or NC grade for students who stopped attending
