About Ryan Kim

Ryan Kim has been a Supervisor of the Multi-Media Evidence Unit for the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office Crime Lab since 2012. The Unit specializes in Audio/Video, Mobile, and Computer forensics.
Prior to working with the Santa Clara District Attorney's Office as a Senior Criminal Investigator, Ryan was employed as an investigator with the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office. He has a BS in Criminal Justice from Sacramento State University and an MS in Criminal Justice—cybercrime and Cybersecurity from Boston University.
Ryan is a professional member of the International Association of the Computer Investigative Specialists, and he has the Certified Forensic Computer Examiner certificate from the IACIS since 2012.
