College of Social Sciences

The College of Social Sciences prepares students for impactful careers in technology, business, government, scientific research, communication, and law,  while empowering them as democratic participants in a rapidly changing world. Our graduates serve as leaders, champions, and advocates for our communities.

All of our programs support students’ academic excellence, provide opportunities for research projects, and applied research and practice. Students have direct experience engaging and addressing critical social issues and developing blueprints for a just and sustainable world.

If what we do matters to you, please invest in our college and our students. Your support is critical to provide these opportunities for teaching, research, and community partnerships. Your gift provides students with excellent educational opportunities and enhances the SJSU student experience with innovative programs, faculty enrichment, scholarships, and up-to-date technology and facilities.

Your gift ensures that we continue our mission of delivering a high-quality education to more than 5,000 students each year.
