Advising

All undergraduate advising for CMPE and SE students will be handled by the Engineering Student Success Center (ESSC) in two locations.

• Undergraduate Advising Hub (UAH) located in the Student Services Center on the first floor of the North Parking Garage for lower division students (first-years and sophomores).
• ESSC located in the Engineering Building Suite 116 for upper division students (juniors and seniors).

Students are required to meet an advisor every semester in order to get their Engineering-Advising Hold removed. Details about advising are provided to BSCMPE & BSSE students every semester via SJSU emails, Spartan Connect messages, and CMPE/SE Major Advising Canvas announcements.
