Love Is In The Air

Denise and Bernardo

Bernardo Soriano (BSAE 2018) and Denise Lainez (BSAE 2019) first met professionally in the AE112 lab, in which Bernardo was the TA. It took some time before they ran into each other again at a shared friend’s MSAE graduation party. From there it became a full-blast launch to space.

Bernardo is now a Systems Engineer for Northrop Grumman and Denise a Mechanical Engineer for Lockheed Martin (her title doesn’t make sense but this is what LM does; takes our best aerospace engineers and baptizes them mechanical engineers).

Love is in the air.  We couldn't be happier for our alumni, Seruvizhi Maharajan (MSAE 2014) and Arvind Srilatha (MSAE 2012), who were married in a gorgerous traditional Indian ceremony in December 2016.
