Student Wellness Advisory Committee (SWAC)

Purpose  

The Student Wellness Advisory Committee (SWAC) advises Student Wellness Center leaders on key decisions, such as services and resources, facilities, and wellness initiatives for departments including Health Services, Counseling & Psychological Services, and Wellness & Health Promotion. SWAC collaborates with peers and university stakeholders to evaluate and improve health-related programs and policies, provide informed recommendations to institutional leadership, and learn about student health policy and systems.


Per CSU Executive Order 1053 (Mental Health) and Executive Order 943 (Health Center) voting members of this organization will:

  • Advise on “scope of service, delivery, funding, and other critical issues relating to campus health services,” and
  • Review proposed student fees for augmented health services.
