Winning grants and contracts is a highly competitive effort. Early planning and scrupulous attention to detail is crucial. Contact the Research Development team for assistance during proposal development. The OSP team partners with you to ensure on time successful proposal submissions. 

Proposal Routing and Approval

Before you submit your proposal to a sponsoring organization, Research Foundation staff can help ensure you've met all of the requirements.

Award Negotiation and Set-Up

After your award is finalized, we'll provide you training on our grant management system, set up purchasing accounts, and help you staff your project.

Managing Projects

Research projects have many moving parts. You focus on the scientific inquiry, and we'll handle the administrative and financial details for you.

Project Closeout

At the project's close, your sponsoring organization will require final reports and other deliverables. These could include technical documents and financial reports.

Early Career Investigator Awards

The SJSU Research Foundation Early Career Investigator Award recognizes tenure-track SJSU faculty who have excelled in areas of research, scholarship, and creative activity during their probationary period at SJSU.
