Access Your Information

The Workday portal gives you access to your personal information and HR records.

Gmail Address Creation and Use

The San José State University Research Foundation uses a standardized email format for all employees to enhance communication and ensure consistency. Employees must activate and use the SJSU email address once assigned.

Employees may forward emails from their Research Foundation accounts to their preferred location-based email addresses after activation.

New hires will have their email accounts set up during onboarding. To activate your account, please follow the provided instructions. 

To activate your SJSU email:

  1. First-time users, begin by setting your password at SJSUOne Set/Reset Password
  2. Then, to access your email account, go to SJSU Email (SSO Login)
  3. To sign in, use your SJSUOne ID and password – the same ID and password you use to access SJSUOne and the campus wireless network
  4. After you log in, you will see your email address (in the upper-right corner of the screen). It will use the format firstname.lastname@sjsu.edu.
