We aim to make the Radlauer Research Group a welcoming, collaborative, and inclusive environment for learning and research. Our beliefs are strongly connected to diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect. We also believe that chemistry is fun!

If you're interested in joining our team, please fill out the questionnaire form (Word doc [docx] or pdf format [pdf]) and send it in an email to Dr. Radlauer (madalyn.radlauer@sjsu.edu). She will then reach out to you to begin the interview process as well as connect you with current research students. All current SJSU students are eligible regardless of major or GPA. There is also a Chemistry Department Open House each fall semester when you can meet many of the faculty and students and get an idea of the variety of research projects in the department.

Notes to non-SJSU students: There are currently no postdoctoral positions available and while we accept MS graduate students, there is no PhD program for chemistry at SJSU. We also cannot accept high school students due to the inherent risks of working in the lab and the SJSU policies for students under 18. Current Community College students (and BA/BS students from other universities) can reach out to Dr. Radlauer as there are volunteer opportunities, especially in the summer.
