Professor Connie Hwang was awarded best book design by Design Rush for her book "ART AT OHANA: A GUIDEBOOK". The judges said the book demonstrates a deep understanding of art and design's therapeutic potential. Its cover captures attention with its vibrant textile patchwork, echoing the art collection's colorful and diverse nature inside.

SFMOMA Table Manners

Professor San Fratello will have two pieces on display this fall at SFMOMA in the exhibit Table Manners, opening September 14, the exhibit considers design as an expression of the politics and pleasures of food consumption.

Interior Design Student Kami Huynth won third place in the very prestigious and competitive Northern California IIDA student competition 2024.

Professor Joe Miller’s posters from the permanent collection of LACMA, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, completed a multi-year touring exhibition titled "What World You Say?/¿Qué dirías?: Activist graphics from the Los Angeles County Museum of Art." The exhibit was mounted at Lancaster Museum of Art and History, Riverside Art Museum, Cal State University Northridge, and Vincent Price Art Museum in East Los Angeles.
