Welcome to the Department of Aviation and Technology!
We are proud of our history and, even more, of the people who make our department special — our students, faculty, alumni, sponsors, and industry partners. For years, we have helped students turn their passion for aviation and technology into meaningful careers through hands-on learning, supportive faculty, and strong industry connections.
Our faculty bring a wealth of professional experience, research expertise, and enthusiasm to the classroom. Their work, along with our industry partnerships, helps keep our programs connected to the rapidly changing aviation and engineering technology fields. Our work continues as we build on these strengths, pursue new opportunities, and prepare our students for the future.
Our graduates are working and leading across airlines, airports, aerospace companies, government agencies, and technology industries, including high-tech companies throughout Silicon Valley and the Bay Area. We are committed to creating opportunities that give our students practical, real-world experience, help them build strong professional networks, and prepare them to launch successful careers in a rapidly evolving global workforce.
