As the VP of Operations for VMware’s Products organization, Sonar spearheads strategy planning, business operations, and business transformation. Her team plays a critical role in defining and driving strategic, operational, and organizational excellence to scale the business with speed and deliver aggressive growth. Very importantly, her team helps perpetuate a culture of alignment and transformation that drives optimization across the company.
Prior to her current role, Sonar spent almost 19 years at Cisco in various Engineering and Operations roles for several multi-billion dollar businesses. Sonar is passionate about mentoring and sponsoring women in tech and actively drives these activities across VMware and her broader community. Sonar holds a BS in Computer Engineering from SJSU.
