What is the Guaranteed Pathway Program?
Guaranteed Pathway is a bold new initiative to increase access to higher education and streamline the path to a degree for South County students. In collaboration with Morgan Hill Unified School District and Gilroy Unified School District, this effort is designed to create clear pathways to college and provide students with greater opportunities to pursue and complete their education.
Guaranteed Admission to SJSU
Beginning Fall 2026, all eligible graduating seniors from Morgan Hill Unified and Gilroy Unified School Districts will be guaranteed admission to San José State University (students applying to impacted majors may be admitted as Undeclared). The program also offers dual enrollment opportunities, allowing students to earn college credits while still in high school, saving both time and money. In addition, students and families will benefit from on-the-ground support through workshops, college readiness events, and campus visits with SJSU staff.
