Social Work
Our two-year Master of Social Work (MSW) hybrid program offers online classes with an in-person internship component. Two years of continuous enrollment and completion of 60 units is required for this degree.
Nursing Specialty Adv. Certificate
Add to your nursing credentials and further the care you offer with the Nursing Specialty Advanced Certificate program. A minimum of two courses in wound, ostomy, and/or foot and nail can be taken within one and half years (may skip one semester) and are required to receive this certificate.
Pupil Personnel Services Credential
The Post-Master Pupil Personnel Services Credential (PPSC), designed for professionals with an MSW, qualifies you for certification with the state of California as a school social worker. This 10-credit program includes four units of externship done in a school setting.
Clinical Lab. Scientist Training
99.5% (191/192) of SJSU Clinical Lab Scientist graduates from 2017-2021 passed the ASCP Board of Certification examination within one year of graduation. Join them and train in top hospitals around California to prepare yourself for a rewarding career. Complete this 40-hour-a-week training program in one year.
