Bio
Dr. Genya Ishigaki is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at San Jose State University, where he directs the interconnect lab. He received his Ph.D. and M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2021, and his M.S. and B.S. in Engineering from Soka University, Japan. His research interests span network resource allocation, combinatorial optimization, and reinforcement learning. His current work includes resource allocation in quantum networks, AI-based network automation, and communication-efficient distributed machine learning.
