Community & Study Space

NAISSC is a community building space and study area, located in the former Spartan Memorial Chapel. Connect with NAISSC to learn about the various programming and services offered.

Indigenous Scholars Sustaining Knowledge (SKO) Mentorship Program

The SKO Mentorship Program is a first-year mentorship program for Frosh students transitioning into San Jose State University from high school. Mentees of the SKO Mentorship Program are paired with a Peer Mentor to receive weekly support and guidance through their first year at SJSU. SKO Mentees receive academic skills workshops, community-building activities, and leadership development opportunities. All mentees looking to participate in the SKO Mentorship Program for the 2025-26 academic year must submit an application.
