BACKGROUND:
Dr. Ramones is the Associate Vice Chancellor of Human Resources at West Valley Mission Community College District and teaches Public Personnel Administration (PADM 215). He has twenty years of human resources management experience which includes eleven years with the City of San Jose. He is on the Human Resources Advisory Committee for the Statewide Association of Community Colleges and the State Chancellor’s Office Diversity/EEO Advisory Committee. 

Dr. Ramones is a proud graduate of the MPA program and has taught at SJSU for ten years. He has a doctorate in organizational leadership and a bachelor’s in sociology. He is certified by the International Public Management Association for Human Resources and an active member of Rotary International. Dr. Ramones presents at various professional conferences within the fields of human resources and higher education leadership.
