Upper Division Advising
Upper Division Students (those who have completed 60 or more units) can visit the Jack Holland Success Center in the Boccardo Business Complex 008 for support.
Upper division students can get support in the following ways:
- Service #1: Transaction Requests

- This form is not for drop-in advising or scheduling an appointment.
- Transaction Options Include:
- Graduation Date Change Form
- Declare the Business Minor
- BUS2 190 Enrollment Support
- Service #2: Drop-in Advising* (see notes below)
- Drop-in advising are 15 minute sessions for upper division students only (60+ units
completed).

- The form is only available during our drop-in hours.
- The form may close early if we reach capacity.
- We do not have drop-in advising on Fridays.

- Service #3: Advising Appointments
- Appointments are 30 minute sessions. Schedule an appointment via Spartan Connect (In-person and Zoom).

- Appointments are generally released one month at a time:

*Students interested in changing their major to Business or adding the Business minor must attend drop-in advising (Service #2).
Former students seeking to return to SJSU, including those who have been academically disqualified, should refer to the university's Former and Returning Student Services webpage, which includes information about their services and how to connect with an advisor.
