This page hosts information on the current campus climate from the university administration about non-emergency advisories, notices or communications about situation(s) on all campus properties: main campus, south campus, Art Foundry, Moss Landing Marine Laboratories and affiliated properties like Timpany Center, Reid Hillview Airport.

Impacts to the campus climate are events or actions that happened, are anticipated to occur, or could occur, that require urgent communication to students, faculty, staff, parents/families, and/or the public, but are not emergency events that could or would disrupt regular campus operations, classes or events.
Communications on campus climate may be issued from the Office of the President, Office of the Provost and senior vice president for Academic Affairs, Office of the vice president for Student Affairs, and/or University Police Department.
For safety-related emergency communications from the university, refer to the Emergency Alerts site. Emergencies are defined as urgent actions, events or situations that actively or potentially threaten health, life, safety or property and/or disrupt regular campus operations, classes or events.
