Adobe Acrobat Accessibility: This resource provides guidance on remediating PDFs using Adobe Acrobat. However, it is best practice to remediate the original document (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, or Google Doc) because their accessibility features are much easier to use.

Canvas Accessibility: Get to know the accessibility features in Canvas with this guide.

Microsoft Accessibility: Use this guide to learn more about using the accessibility features in Word and PowerPoint.

Google Doccuments: GrackleDocs, GrackleSlides and GrackleSheets are Google add-ons that faculty and staff have free access to. See how easy it is to create accessible Google documents with this guide.

You’ll find resources on Universal Design for Learning, Adobe Acrobat, Canvas, Google Suite, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, TidyUp and UDOIT. Use this self-paced course as a resource or complete it to earn a badge! Consider enrolling in Accessible Canvas Courses to create a more inclusive learning experience for our diverse student population!

It is provided by the CSU Office of the Chancellor and is available to all faculty and staff as well as student assistants who are connected with document remediation.

Canvas Accessibility Training

The TidyUp User Guide and TidyUp Training Videos demonstrate how to use TidyUp to remove repetitive or unused course files. This step is a best practice as it minimizes the amount of time to remediate files.
