Bio
I've taught at San Jose State for 20 years, a career I love. My favorite part of
the job is helping students to understand what public relations is all about and how
they can make an impact. My professional experience includes two years as a newspaper
reporter for the Muncie Star (my favorite job as a professional); two years as Assistant
Sports Information Director, Ball State University; two years as Education Writer,
BSU Public Information services; two years as the Assistant to the Dean in the Graduate
School, BSU.
I have taught all the PR courses, but primarily focus on case studies and strategic
writing. In addition, I'm the undergraduate advisor in the School of Journalism and
Mass Communications. Come see me–you're always welcome!
