                     Bio
                     
                        Danielle Trudeau received her Doctorate in Linguistics from University of Paris 7
                           in 1984. She has taught French (language, literature, and linguistics) at SJSU since
                           1988. Specialized in French Renaissance, her publications include Les Inventeurs du
                           bon usage (Paris: Minuit, 1992), and critical editions of Bertrand de La Borderie's
                           L'Amie de court (Paris: Champion, 1997) and Le Discours du Voyage de Constantinoble
                           (Paris: Champion, 2003, and of Pernette du Guillet's Rymes (Paris: Champion, 2007).
                           Her current research project is the translation and critical edition of Henri Estienne's
                           De Latinate Falsò Suspecta.
