Creating Captions using Canvas Studio

To create captions for a video you created, follow these steps. Notes: The maximum file size for Canvas Studio is 10GB. Also, please review the accepted file types for Canvas Studio.

[1] Open your Canvas Studio and [2] click the add button to upload your file. 

[3] Browse for your file and upload it.

Double click on your video to open the editor. [4] Select the language spoken and [5] click the Request button.

[6] Click the Review and Publish button to edit your captions and review them for accuracy. Important: Canvas Studio’s captions are about 85% accurate. To achieve accessibility compliance, the percentage needs to be closer toward 100% accuracy.

[7] Edit the captions and [8] click the Publish button.

[9] In an assignment, indicate how to turn on captions.
