What is the AEC?
AEC provides reasonable accommodations, services, and
auxiliary aids to support students with disabilities. Our goal
is to provide equal access to course curriculum.

Services Offered - What we do

Which services am I eligible for?
Accommodations are provided on a case-by-case basis depending on students� limitations. Students must register with AEC to be considered for services. Examples include:

TESTING ACCOMMODATIONS
Extended time, assistive technology, and distraction-reduced environment.

NOTETAKING SUPPORT
Peer notetaking and assistive technology.

AEC COMPUTER LAB and STUDY ROOMS
Access to a study lab and reservable rooms.

ALTERNATIVE FORMATS
Braille, e-text, and large print materials.

CAPTIONING
Real-time captioning (Deaf & Hard of Hearing Services).

ASL INTERPRETERS
Real-time ASL interpreting (Deaf & Hard of Hearing Services).
